Meet the Founder & President

Founder & President | Aging-in-Place & Independent Living Consultant

My name is Sean Drury, and I am the Founder and President of Shamus Finn Corporation. We began in 2009 as a locally owned

home services company. Over the years, our mission evolved as we recognized a growing need among homeowners and families: helping people

try to remain safe, comfortable, and independent in the homes they love. Today, Shamus Finn Corporation has transitioned into an Aging-in-Place and Independent Living Consultation company, providing families with guidance, resources, and practical solutions to help navigate the challenges of staying at home as life changes. This mission is deeply personal to me. After losing both of my parents, my family experienced firsthand the emotional, physical, and financial challenges that come with making decisions about aging, home safety, independence, and future transitions. Going through that process gave me a greater understanding of the difficult questions families face and inspired me to create a service

that helps others feel prepared, informed, and supported before they reach a crisis point.

My background in real estate has also played a major role in shaping this company. I have been a licensed Realtor and Broker since 2004,

giving me extensive experience in understanding homes, property values, market conditions, and the major decisions families face when considering whether to modify, remain in, or transition away from their current home. Our three-phase consultation process is designed to help provide guidance at many stages. From identifying practical home improvements and accessibility solutions, to recommending trusted

contractors and in-home service providers. When helping families prepare for future transitions, we focus on creating a clear path forward.

In Phase Three of our process, when a transition away from the home becomes necessary, my real estate experience allows me to help families navigate important decisions involving their property. This may include connecting them with trusted professionals such as assisted living facilities, adult day care opportunities, estate planning advisors, estate attorneys, and other resources

needed to help create a smooth and thoughtful transition.

Beyond my professional work, I am also the founder and president of GodLovesSports.org, a 100% Volunteer nonprofit organization dedicated to hosting free junior athlete sports clinics in a Christian atmosphere. In 2026 we launched GodLovesSports 2.0 where we visit assisted living facilities to help promote our free sports clinics. We partner with the facility's volunteer coordinator to visit with the residents, and play sporting games. Serving others has always been at the center of our work, whether through helping families, supporting homeowners, or creating opportunities for young athletes. At Shamus Finn Corporation, our goal is simple: to provide trusted guidance, practical solutions, and compassionate support so individuals and families can make confident decisions about their homes, their independence, and their future.

During this meeting, we'll discuss your current home, lifestyle, mobility needs, future goals, and any concerns you or your family may have. Together, we'll identify opportunities to improve safety, accessibility, and independence while helping you avoid unnecessary expenses.

By the end of the consultation, you'll have a clear understanding of the next steps and a roadmap for creating a home that supports safe, comfortable, and independent living for years to come.

Phase 2 – Personalized Home & Lifestyle Plan

Building on your Virtual Strategy Meeting, The Phase 2 Onsite Visit provides a customized plan tailored to your home, lifestyle, and long-term goals.

Your personalized recommendations may include home modifications that improve safety, accessibility, and daily living, along with guidance on projects that may require a licensed contractor or specialized professional. We'll also identify opportunities to simplify everyday life through trusted support services, such as housekeeping, lawn care, snow removal, meal delivery, transportation, home maintenance, and other in-home assistance based on your individual needs. The goal is to create a practical, personalized roadmap that helps you remain safe, comfortable, and independent in the home you love while giving you and your family confidence in the decisions ahead.

As needs change over time, remaining at home may no longer be the safest or most practical option. Phase 3 provides trusted guidance and resources to help you and your family navigate the next chapter with confidence.

Based on your unique situation, we can provide recommendations and referrals for adult day programs, in-home care agencies, assisted living and senior housing options, estate planning professionals, elder law attorneys, financial advisors, real estate services, downsizing specialists, and moving assistance.

Our goal is to help make every transition as informed and stress-free as possible, ensuring you and your loved ones have the support needed to make confident decisions at every stage of the journey.
